Disease and Your Nervous System - The nervous system (the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves) is the master coordination and control system of the body. Life, including the body's ability maintain health, to heal, and to regenerate, depends on the proper functioning of the nervous system. When the nervous system ceases to function, life ceases. When something, such as pressure on a nerve, interferes with the full and optimal functioning of the nervous system (nerve interference), dis-ease, and ultimately disease, is the end result. Nerve Interference and Subluxations - Interference to the proper functioning of the nervous system is called a subluxation. Subluxations cause the body to enter into a state of less than optimal functioning that is associated with most forms of dis-ease states known to man. Learn more about the model of the vertebral (spinal) subluxation used by Dr. Blye and the new model of the cranial subluxation that he has developed. Attributes of a Subluxation -
Chiropractic works by restoring normal motion in a locked vertebrae, releasing the nerve interference that is caused by the locked vertebrae, and re-establishing normal communication between the brain and the rest of the body. We know that nerve interference is a primary cause of dis-ease, however you name it. Three Causes of Subluxations
