I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia syndrome in January of 2001. Pain, fatigue, and malaise were a part of each day of my life. I had quit being able to handle the day to day responsibilities of caring for my home and family, exercising for any length of time was near impossible, and at 35 I found myself feeling old, and as if my life as I had known it and hoped for it was over.
February 2003 I began receiving cranial adjustments from Dr. Blye. Within two weeks I was feeling remarkably better. My pain had reduced by 60 - 75% and I felt hopeful for the first time in two years. I had a setback for about two weeks, but once I returned to regular cranial care, I once again had an improvement in my symptoms. Since that time I have experienced a 75 - 80% improvement in my Fibromyalgia symptoms. I no longer feel malaise, my pain is greatly diminished, and I am able to take care of my family and my home once again. The mask of pain, which had covered my face, is no longer there, and I find I rarely complain about not feeling well. My mother remarked about a month ago that she was looking at me and thought "oh, there's my daughter!" having previously grieved the loss of my healthy self. I've become a regular exerciser (90 minutes, 3 times a week!) and have returned to other activities that I enjoyed prior to Fibromyalgia such as playing catch with my daughter, swimming with my children, and gardening. It doesn't hurt to fold the clothes or do the dishes, and I no longer feel the need for a two-hour nap once my children have left for school. Life is so much better now and I look forward to a healthy, active future.
Blye Cranial Technique has given me a new lease on life for which my family and I will be forever grateful.
